EDITOR'S STATEMENT
There always seems to be a lull in collecting in the summer months.
Most family interests intervene. There has been a flurry of sub
scriptions in the last few weeks, to prove we are again going into
the season.
In the Sept. issue I had said I planned on writing an article on
what services and talents we provide in the Denver area. So as
to encourage others to do the same, I am going to forstall until
the November issue. I am planning an all out effort for this issue.
All material for the November issue should be in by Oct. 25, let's
get those ads in, please. If any of you are planning an article or
news feature, please do it this month.
I wish to thank those of you who offered and have sent pictures
of the machines I asked for in August.
For those of you who are Juke Box collectors, Thomas Cantella,
of the Antique Juke Box Company, has kindly consented to do
a question and answer column.
Anyone wanting their question's
in print, please submit them to me, Bill Harris, The Coin Slot, Box
612, Wheatridge, CO.
I will also remind you that Mr. Dick Bueschel is still taking ques
tions on our gambling items - let's hear from you.
As of late I've become increasingly more interested in gum ball
machines. I will again remind those of you that are interested in
gum machines; feel free to submit any material or some ques
tions and answers, etc. Mr. Dave Bassitt does a terrific job with his
article in the Coin Slot.
