Roy Arrington's Victorian Casino Antiques held its fourth auction at
the Las Vegas Strip, June 24, 25, and 26.

The Auctioneer was Den
This auction was aimed more at the collectors
of coin operated machines than previous auctions.
In addition to the
machines, there were choice architectural items offered. The auction
brought people from all parts of the country.
There was the usual
$100.00 registration fee which applied to the purchase price and in
cluded catered food.
As always, the coin machines sold exceeded the previous auctions.
The fine restored items sold at premium prices.
The states now allowing private ownership of antique or collectable
gambling items are:
California, Oregon, Washington, Texas, with
Missouri almost certain to follow.
The Bill, I understand, is in front
of the Governor now.
1977 seems to be the kick off year for legalizing possession of an
tique slots.
It will be fascinating to watch.

last month.
