Nobody knows how many of the floor machines were sold as a result
of the promotion. But we do know that these unique machines still
existed as late as May, 1924. Sicking died in 1928 and 1939 his suc
cessors moved into a new building at 1401 Central Parkway in Cin
cinnati.
None of the old machines went with them
- they started
their distribution business with a clean slate.
So you can't rush right out and buy one of the machines from Sicking
or anyone else in the firm.
It's long gone.
But you can pretend to be
at the other end of the mailing list. The old flyer has been reprinted
on a large sheet, two sides, just like the original, with the reproduc
tion
made from two of the surviving originals.
Printing is on art
paper, suitable for framing, and is shipped flat rolled in a tube to
avoid folding.
It's available from Bueschel Sales Company, 414 N.
Prospect, 11. 60056 at $4.95 postpaid, as well as from specialty dealers
around the country.

Gentlemen:
I thought you would be interested to know that the Revised Criminal
Code of Missouri will allow individuals to own antique slot machines
as long as they are not used for gambling.
I sponsored this legislation as an amendment to the Criminal Code
as it went through the General Assembly. I am indebted to you as it
was your House Organ for the winter of 1976 that called this problem
to my attention.
Assuming the Governor of Missouri signs the Criminal Code bill, which
I am sure he will, this will become Missouri law January 1, 1979.
