I now hope that the bubblegum craze has put the bite on you.
Whether you would like to collect bubblegum machines as a
hobby, for resale, or would just like to own one machine for the
fun of it; please remember there are important items you should
consider.
The following should give you an idea what to look for when pur
chasing a gumball machine for your collection.
1.
Decide what type of machine you are interested in. An orig
inal machine or a restored machine. There is a big difference.
There are collectors that contact me daily that own original
machines.
So believe me, they are out there and they do
On the other hand, restored mach
ines are more readily available at a somewhat lower price.

The globe should be in tact and not broken or cracked.

The machine should not be repainted for the value of the
machine is decreased considerably.

The machine should be keyed and have original locks. A
good example is the Columbus Machine which used locks in
