RETURN

BY
Bob
A degree of stability has returned to the coin-op collecting hobby. Roy
Arrington's Victorian Casino Antiques Auction held in Las Vegas on October
4th and 5th established realistic prices for gambling, vending and amusem
ent machines. Collectors from around the country converged on a huge ware
house just off the "Strip" to see Auctioneer Don Britt in action and to find
out if the seemingly incredible prices brought by Harrah's Pony Express
Auction in June would again be reached.
The answer was not long in coming.

brought only $475; later a similar 10? Q. T. without vendor, but on a Q» To
stand, brought $575. Three Jennings $1 Chiefs brought $400 each; all were
in excellent working condition. A $1 Mills High Top brought $450.
