Police Must
Return Old
Slot Machine
SAN MEGO (AD—A Superi
or Court judge has ordered the
return of a 1920s model slot
machine, seized by police last
February, to its owner, Harvey
Furgatch. San Diego area presi
dent of the American Housing
Guild.
The slot machine, called an
"art object" by Furpatch, was
taken from a model home in the
Lake Mnrray area by police
Chief O..T. Roed.
Judge James L Focht ruled
that "this machine is well over
the hill in the anttqoe line . . .
and is no more vicious in the
home than an oil painting m of a
co
slot machine."
