will gladly give free estimates on any job, and while the
wait to get the item back through the mail may take some
tin© , the money saved usually makes it worthwhile.
If you do like to buy watches through the mail, request
a catalogue from Manfred Trauring. His list usually has
about 1000 watches in it, plus some very good buys on parts
and tools. It is not illustrated, but does contain a large
variety of items, from the common to the rare.
We hope that the above will prove useful to our subscrib
ers . If anyone has had a good experience with an antique
dealer or repair man we would appreciate hearing about it.
Likewise, if one does issue an unusual catalogue, we would
also like to know about it so that we may include it in these
pages.
