Shipman's Select-A-Bar candy machine
has provided the trade with a much-needed
precision-built vendor priced for operator
profit, Fraga says, while Shipman's stamp
vendor is still the operator's first choice in
postage stamp machines.

Tobacco - Official report suggests that
1948 acreage will produce about 25 per
cent less tobacco leaf than the crop last
year. Support prices for tobacco are at
present higher than la t year and are ex-

Government report on final 1947 crop shows
a drop of nearly 10 per cent under the 1946.
Vanilla - Vanilla beans, supply and

vanilla supply picture from Madagascar.
American buyers have suggested a plan to
Madagascar officials for stabilizing prices
and selling on contract in the U. S. to
licensed agents only.
