Any veteran who was under 25 a t th e
time of his induction can choose to go
to Rchool at government exp ense wh en he
comes home. Th e governm ent will pay
u p to 500 a year for tuition, p lus $50
a month for ma intena nce if th e vetera n
is single, or 75 a month if he has one
or more dependents.
Men wh o were more than 25 a t th e
time of their indu ctio n ca n return to
sch ool if th eir ent rance into military se r-
vice interrup ted their educa tion. In both
cases the government will extend fin an-
cia l as~ista n ce up to a maximum of four
years.
