Practically the whole organization of the
Puget Sound Novelty turned out in full
force to help celebrate George Schnabel's
birthday. We hear the party was a success
and that some of the employees have ta].
ents never before known. Such hula danc•
ing- wowee!
Wayne Odom just bought a route east
of the mountains. Wayne is a very likable
fellow and we know will be successful in
operating.
Jerry Steffan hasn't received much "rib.
bing" about that six by six moustache of
his of late. Better give up, Jerry, or maybe
a little hair tonic would do the trick.
New faces at Puget Sound Novelty-
Alvina Hammel, office force; Don Che].
gren, mechanic, and Darryl Kvindlog, ware.
houseman.
C. L. Hanford, Tacoma operator and ar-
cade owner, i'n town and as busy as ever,
looking for equipment and parts.
The Industry, and local coin men in par•
ticular, were sorry to hear of the passing
of J. O'Connor of the Royal Amusement
Co. Mr. O'Connor passed away Sunday,
Nov. 5th, after a lingering illness. His ab-
sence will be felt by those who have
known him well for many years and as one
of the officials of the R,oyal Amusement Co.
Jack R. Moore's local office has been
augmented by the addition of a 1941 Ford
Station Wagon. The car, formerly at the
Spokane Branch, is needed more in Seattle
and affords the tops in transportation for
delivery, service and sales trips, according
to Bert Beutler, local manager.
Otis Morehead back at the Twin City
Novelty Company's headquarters in Cen•
tralia, after a sojourn in Alaska.
Earl Stump, who recently purchased the
route of Mickey Hannon in Anacortes,
came in to Seattle on one of his regular
trips. He reports operations doing nicely.
Mickey Hannon, now footloose and fan.
cy free, was seen vacationing in Chicago
and visiting factories.
