Baily's Second Star
CHI CAGO-A second star has been
added to the Army-Navy "E" F lag flying
over the " Ball y" plant, according to a
statement by Herb Jones, vice-president
and works manager of Lion Manufacturing
Corp.
"The second star," Jones pointed out,
"like the original flag and the first star,
was awarded officially to the Lion Manu-
facturing Corp. Actually this is the or-
ganization known to the coin-machine in-
dustry as Bally Manufacturing Co., and the
second star is further proof of the vital
con tributions of the coin-machine industry
to the assured victory of the United Na-
tions."
Parina Applauds NAMA
SAN FRANCISCO-R. A. Parin a, of R.
A. Parina and Co., is back in San Fran-
cisco after attending the October 25th and
26th meeting of the National Automatic
Merchandise Association. Parina is a
NAMA member and was one of two or
three in attendance from the Coast.
Parina believes NAMA has evolved a
magn ificent program of pub lic relations
for 1945 and heartily endorsed the plan by
making a sizable contrib ution to the $25,-
000 fund raised for the program. Parina
stated that NAMA deserves the support of
every operator engaged in vend ing mer-
chandise for the many services provided
far exceed in value the modest member-
ship fee.

MODERN 125,000 SQ. FT. FACTORY TO TRIPLE BALLY PRODUCTION
Futu r e plan s of the Bally organization call for production
of new game s immediately after the defeat of the enemy.
For this purpose the new enlarged Bally plant, illustrated
beiow, and now in full production on war products, is de-
signed to in sure rapid conversion to the products of peace.
In the post-war era, as in the past, " you can bank on
