In th e know predictors ay th at Ger·

we can lay our hands on and maybe feel·

men because everyone want our goods
and service.

bes t to thi s id ea, Uneeda pa ks (A -I' and
500's) also work out okay. Rowes do not
ho w th e pac ks a well but th ey ca n be
used thi s way. T he reason for doin g this
is, of cou rse, because w ith present hort·
ages, you may have a brand thi s week
and have none nex t week. It takes too
mu ch time to continuall y cha nge labels but
by leav in g labels out yo u can change
brands without an y trouble. Post-war mao
chines should b e mad e so th at brand labels
on the ma chin e itself are not necessary.
Surely would save us all a lot of tim e.
MERRY CHRISTMAS, ALL!

.. . and drive even harder on the pay-roll savings plan!1I
Make War Bonds the Christmas Order of the Day.
Urge your workers to make their personal Christmas
gifts in the form of War Bonds- and practice what you
preach! Make this a 100% War Bond Christmas-to
insure future Yuletides of peace and prosperity.
Make up your own posters to spread the " War Bonds
for Christmas" story across your plant. Tell the story
again and again on bulletin boards, in your plant maga-
zine, and on pay envelope stuffers.
But don't forget your basic, all-important Pay-Roll
Savings Plan. How's it going, these days? Perhaps it
needs a bit of stoking-up right this very minute, to
hold its full head of steam against the competitive de-
mands of the holiday season.
Well, you're the 1l1an to stoke it! You can't ex-
pect it to keep running indefinitely on last summer's
enthusiasm. See to it that your participation percent-
ages, and your deduction percentages, both end up the
year at new levels.
Every month, now your Pay-Roll Savings ought to
run well ahead of the preceding month. For so 1l1any
fa1l1ilies that for1l1erly depended on the earnings
of a single worker, now enjoy the ~01l1bined earn-
ings of several. Such fa1l1ily incomes are doubled,
trebled, even multiplied many times.
Now's the time to turn as much as possible of these
increased earnings into War Bonds-War Bonds for
Christmas ... and War Bonds the whole year 'round!
GIVE THE PRESENT WITH A FUTURE-WAR BONDS!
