Whose Face Is Red?
LOS ANGELES.- What prominent op e-
rator of Southern Californ ia was cau ght
nude in th e halls of a Holl ywood hotel in
October?
Seems the individual involved (and
we're not offering p rizes for identification)
had several rounds of drinks, slept awhi le,
and then decided to visit the bathroom of
the suite he was sharing with a f riend. In
leaving the bathroom he went out the door
to the hall and slammed it before he real-
ized he had selected th e wrong door. Fra n-
t ic raps didn't rouse his friend but did
awaken two or three other guests wh ich
caused said operator to decide to knock no
more. Finally, shielding his nud e body
wi th a small towel, he got an eleva tor boy
to let him into his own room .
"Do you live here?" asked the bewild-
en~d elevator operator. " Hell , what do you
th ink?" responded our em barrassed ope-
rator.
