Atlas Ready For Rush
CHICAGO-Operations of the recondi·
tioning department of the Atlas Novelty
Co. have won high praise not only from
company officials, but from hosts of coin·
men as well, it is reported. Frank Bach,
superintendent of repair service, was
lauded by company heads, Morrie and
Eddie Ginsburg, for the efficient manner
in which the department is conducted.
"Frank has been with us for many
years," Eddie stated, "and during this time
he has amassed a large knowledge of reo
conditioning. His experience, plus the spe·
cial training he has received at leading
factory service schools, puts him on top as
a service expert, and the work he and his
staff turn out reflects his ability."
Morrie Ginsburg declares: "Frank has
helped Atlas build an enviable reputation
for service on repairs and reconditioning.
In these times, with new galI)es non·exist·
ent, Frank and his co· workers will have a
big responsibility. Already operators have
jammed our shops with games for recondi·
tioning, and a growing number of coinmen
indicate that their equipment is slated for
Atlas repair service. Frank says that he is
ready for them. To operators that means
that their games are as good as repaired."

Spin-N-Win Games Announced
MUNCIE, Indiana - Gay Games, Inc.,
had just announced to the trade a new
group of Spin.N·Win games which com·
bines the well known ticket game with a
salesboard for triple customer appeal. The
cylindrical spindle of tickets is mounted in
the center of the board and wings on both
sides carry the seals concealing winning
amounts.
Initial offering includes a Gold Dollar
board, a Royal Flush board, a Dive Bomber
board with a war motif, and a cigarette
hoard.
Guy Noel, president of Gay Games,
stated: "It is a well known fact that opera·
tors of coupon games and salesboards have
not had a new item in years. In our Spin·
N·Win .games we offer something brand new
and completely different. The principle of
Spin.N·Win is the same as that of sales· .
boards with the good features of the old jar
deal added. However the spindle mounting
of tickets prevents the handful thief from
plying his trade. Spin·N·Wins may be
played by any number of players at the
same time and play is at least three times
faster than boards. No refills are used on
our new Spin·N·Wins and when a game is
sold out another new one is set up imme·
diately. Operators report surprising returns
on initial tests and we look forward to a
bumper business on this new idea."
New Use forPanoram
SPRINGFIELD, ILL.-When "The In·
vaders" played the Senate theater here
Manager Dave Jones used a Mills Panoram
to plug the feature in the Senate lobby.
Renting a machine from a local operator
Jones had a 16mm trailer made from the
negative of the regular 35mm trailer, with
sound track and all, but with titles back·
wards for rear projection. The two ends of
the film were joined and the Panoram
"plugged" the inside picture 150 times a
day to . passersby.
