REVIEW
CHICAGO- From now on somebody else
can prune the trees in the P erkins back
yard. At least that's the sentiment ex·
pressed by H. R. Perkins, Buckley advertis•
ing manager, who return ed to his position
on August 5th after a IO.week self.inflicted
vacation taking care of a leg broken in
seven places.
Perkins decided to tidy up the back yard
a bit and prune the trees. Now pruning
trees is slightly different than writing ads
and Perkins ful at pruning as evidenced by the 7•place
break.
With aid of a crutch and cane, however,
he is again able to be back on the job. ♦
Business Booms For
Monarch Coin
CHICAGO-"If this keeps up we're go·
ing to have to redouble our floor space,"
said Al Stern of Monarch Coin Machine
Company in commenting on the rush of
business in evidence at their establishmen t.
"We anticipated a heavy summer season
but the boys r eally fooled us," he con•
tinued. "Each day seems better than the
day before and games are coming in and
going out like fury. However, Monarch
stocks were never larger and at the present
time operators can select from more than
1200 novelty tables in our warehouses." ♦
