C. H. McJunkin, of the United States
Operating Company in Phoenix, announces
the arrival of a baby girl, Deanne, early in
July. Now maybe McJunkin can get some
work done. This is his first and he hasn't
been able to do any work for weeks.
Joe Bacon, of Phoenix, sold his drive-in,
th e Coffee Pot, and is going in for operat-
ing in a big way. He is building up his
Phoenix and Tucson routes, and has been
ordering new Wurlitzers from Charlie
Washburn for a numb er of good music
locations.
Henry Manning, formerly of Tucson and
Phoenix, recently took over Jack Davis'
Picacho Tavern. The Tavern is a half-way
stop between Phoenix and Tucson and is a
favorite for buses.
Ivan Green and his father, Mike Green,
both of th e Apache Novelty Company in
Phoenix, drove to the San Francisco Fair
during August.
Karl Schott, of Yuma, better known as
the Apache Kid, and his father, whom the
boys call Junior, took in the Fair at San
.Francisco recently. Karl is well known
for his travelogues appearing in the
RlVIEW.

CHICAGO -The Bally Manufacturing
Company's new one•shot multiple payout
game, Gold Medal, is now in volume pro•
duction, according to Jim Buckley, general
sales manager of the concern.
"Gold Medal," Jim states, "has all the
teasing suspense of a bell and, at the same
time, plenty of skill appeal. Although en-
tirely new in play appeal, Gold Medal re·
tains two features which have proven popu•
Jar in all one•shots built in the past few
years, namely, the changing odds and mys-
tery selections.
