NEW FIRMS
TRIPLETS
DETROIT.-Two new firms have.recent-
ly been found ed here. The first, headed by
Ernest W. Mitchell and Gionne Rondini , is
known as the Royal Ark Music Co., and is
reported as specializing in the operation of
Mills machines. The second, National Nov-
elty and Amusement Co., headed by Samuel
Rosenthal, is in the jobbing business at
8535 Linwood Avenue.

MARSHFIELD, Ore. - The Earl M.
Bushes were expecting a " blessed event,"
as newspaper columnist Walter Winchell
aptly phrases it. On October 30 their ex-
pectations were fu lfilled-yea, more than
fulfilled. Bush, a popular pin game and
music operator, termed it a " jackpot."
At four o'clock triplets arrived. Named
Jean, JoAnne and John, the two boys and
a girl weighed 3 pounds 12 ounces, 5
pounds 2 ounces and 4 pounds 14 ounces.
Mother and youngsters are doing very nice-
ly, thank you.
TAUB NAMED
NEW YORK CITY. - Irving Taub,
former general manager for Square Amuse-
ment Co. of Poughkeepsie, has been named
by Joe Fishman and Al Schlesinger to the
post of sa les manager for the new combine
which the latter men are heading.
NEWARK BRANCH
NEW YORK CITY. -Announcement of
the opening of a branch of Fitzgibbons,
Inc., eastern distributor for Bally Mfg. Co.,
at 362 Mulberry Street, Newark, N. J.,
was made here recently by John A. Fitz-
gibbons, head of the firm. The new head-
quarters occupies a 3-story structure to be
known as the Fitzgibbons Building.
MACHINES STOLEN
D ENVER.-]. R. Clinton, operator of a
number of candy vending machines, report-
ed that ten of the devices had been stolen
from locations around Englewood. Po lice
at Aurora, another D enver suburb, recov-
ered six machines after they had been
looted.
STAFF ADDITIONS
BOSTON.-Two new additions to the
sales staff of the Trimount Coin Machine
Co. have been made here recently, accord-
ing to Dave Bond, president. The two
men, both experienced coinmen, are Paul
Dailey and C. Raymond Mitchell.
MARKEPP EXPANDS
TOLED O, Ohio.-M. M . Marcus, gen-
eral manager of the Markepp Co. of Cleve-
land, announced the opening of a branch
here at 1823-25 Adams Street, November 2.
