Yes, Tycoon is a pin ta ble, a one shot pin table that 7 players with 7 coins can play at
one and the same time. The most comprehensive of all pin tables!
It's hardly fair to even consider it as "a" table or as one table. It'-s really 7 tables in
one! Seven people can play it at one and the same time, each player having a game all
by himself, a game made more tense, more exciting and spectacular by reason of the
fact that competitive interest is present right in the very same game. For years oper-
ators have cried, "Give us a pin table with competitive interest!" Everyone knows that
where player competition is rife, earnings jump. skyw~rd, appeal increases as time goes
by. Gentlemen,
he~e's TYCOON,
mogul of pin tables, greatest money-maker ever to stand
/
on four legs! It's for coin machine operators who like to dominate!
HAIL TO TYCOON, MOGUL OF TABLEDOM!
See Those 7 Slots! Each slot represents one of the
7 holes on the Tycoon board. If you drop your
nickel in hole Number 6, that means··you are pre-
dieting the ball will end up in hole Number 6. If,
before you play, another player selects hole-N um-
ber 3 and still another holes Numbers 2 and 7, that
means that four holes out of the 7 on the board are
covered. You push the handle down and the four
holes light up, when suddenly zip I the steel ball
lifts itself right into position to be shot. You shoot,
aiming to arch the ball off the rebound spring (or
lag if you desire) so that it will pass through cer-
.
tain passage ways and the ball must GO THROUGH
ONE OF THEM! When it does, a window lights up at
the back of the table telli!tg the players what the
reward will be if ball goes into any hole selected.
N ow the ball starts on its devious, dire, devastating
course down the table, swerving from side to side,
lurching, darting this way, that way, and then with
a rush heads right for a selected hole (still lighted),
only at the last instant to take one final bump and
land in a hole that was "dark." If it had gone into
a lighted hole, one of those the players had selected,
reward would have been paid out automatically I
