Williams Opens New
and Modern Factory
LOS ANGELES-Harry Williams,
inventor and designer of CONTACT,
has opened a new and modern fac-
tory at 2534 West Pico street to
manufacture a new and sensational
game known as SIGNAL.
The new plant ig one of me finest
in the country with more than 80
people employed on two shifts daily.
The factory consists " of three floors
of equipment and machinery with a
total floor space of 29,000 square
feet.
In the new plant Mr. Williams is
producing every part that goes into
the making of the SIGNAL game
with the exception of the cabinets.
Every casting is stamped and moraed
in the factory and a complete ship-
ping department takes care of the
out of town shipments. A freight
elevator is used in transporting the
games from floor to floor.
Mr. Williams established a reputa-
tion for inventing prize winners when
he introduced CONTACT and when it
was announced that he was to bring
out another new game ther. was It
regular avalanche of orders flooding
into jobbing offices and the Auto-
matic Amusements Company factory.
In making the initial deliveriea on
SIGNAL the factory built 200 games
before- a delivery was made so " that
an equal quantity couId -be sent each
loca't jobber in an attempt to ap-
pease operators until mor.e games
could be turned out.

horse machine-Futurity. Asked con-
cerning the new machine Johnson

horse with automatic payoff. It baa

player. It's a game that interes1:ii
the player. He wants to play over
and over again and he is amused,
gratified and kept fro mother
thoughts while playing Futurity."
FutUrity odds are ' 2-4, 6-8,
10-16. They change every race. The
player selects his own horse. A se-
lector attachment locks in positiOB
when the race starts. At the coa-
ciusion of the race it is impoSllible
to move the winning horse by j~
ring or tilting and the payoff IS
instant.

ery," sald Johnson. "We know Fu-
turity is a success. Those on loca-
tion went one by one and then in
twos and more Until they are now
going out fast and furious."
