Cross Offers New Juice Bar
For Cold Canned Juices
At time of going to press with this
show issue, Jack Cross told COIN
MACHINE JOURNAL that he would
have his new juice vending machine on
display at this show. This new ma-
chine identified as Juice Bar vends
chilled cans of fruit and vegetable
juices for immediate consumption.
Cross is president of Juice Bar Cor-
poration, 270 Madison Ave., New York
City.

Machines have been coming off pro-
duction lines during recent weeks af-
ter months of research and tests.
Initial orders have been delivered to
operators in leading cities. Deliveries
in quantity will be made before first
of the year.
Juice Bar vends six varieties of
non-carbonated beverages in hermet-
ically sealed six-ounce cans. Machine
has a capacity of 300 cans, each sell-
ing at a dime; and all juices vended
in this machine are packed by nation-
ally known canners. Machines already
in use stock orange, grapefruit, apple
and tomato JUiee, blended citrus
drinks, such as orange and grapefruit,
as well as a chocolate milk drink.
Cross, who headed the Tel-Juice di-
vision of Telecoin, Inc., before form-
ing his own company, said that other
beverages will soon be available in
six-ounce size, including prune juice
and apricot and peach nectar. One in-
teresting feature of the new machine
is its fabricated durable plastic, and
laminated heavy-duty plywood cabi-
net, which eliminates the use of steel
in the cabinet. Refrigeration is sup-
plied by Nash· Kelvinator. Coin unit

Operators of various machines often
find it good for play to peg the coming
movies and to tie in with local theatre
promotion; and some will want to peg
this picture coming up.
The picture is a product of Lippert
Productions and film is being produced
by Bill Stevens at Republic Studios .
Moreland, will be remembered for
his public relations work, and his
interest in coin machines, supervising
the coin machine properties in the
forthcoming Jimmy Stewart picture
"You Gotta Stay Happy," much of
which was shot in Chicago and Newark
last June. (See June Coin Machine
