My interest today has refo-
cused on another type of me-
chanical hobby. Over the last
10 years I have found a new
passion, and that is collecting
antique advertising automa-
tons. I am sure that the fasci-
nation that I have with autom-
ata machines has grown from
the attraction I had with the
Cleveland Grandma. It truly
is one of the finest pieces of
coin operated automaton that
was ever made. Even the Wm.
Gent's original company name
was The Automaton Corp.
