We’d like to make entirely clear just where
ILCO stands in the present emergency.
Briefly, we’re in this thing up to the hilt . . .
and proud to be able to serve! Naturally, Uncle
Sam has first call on the engineering skill and
manufacturing facilities that have been devoted
to serving the coin machine industry in the past.
Furthermore, our available materials must be
used in ways that will best help defeat the Axis.
We salute the great coin machine industry for
its contribution to the victory program and are
fully aware of your sacrifice. While working
together to help win the war, let’s plan together
for the better days ahead.

confronted with a much bigger
problem than giving comfort to
“small” matters. The concentra
tion is on the multi-billion dollar
money raising revenue act. Per
haps the coin machine industry
will learn, when the times are
right, that they’ve got to go after
this problem of taxation on a
solid foundation; that they’ve
got to get someone to prepare
and present their case in an in
telligent manner.
When the war is over, we may
be able to get together the level
headed elements in this business
and do something along con
structive lines. W IN THE WAR,
and then we’ll pick up the busi
ness problems where we left off.
You will save lives by keeping
quiet— do not reveal military in
formation.
The enemy is always listening,
he wants to hear what you know,
serve in silence.
