C A N D Y SHOP CLOSES;
VENDORS MOVE IN
An experience in Baltimore is
being duplicated many times
throughout the country, and is
worth receiving the close atten
tion of operators who have an
adequate supply of vending ma
chines.
The Stanley Theater, one of
Baltimore’s deluxe houses, had
steadfastly refused to install
candy vending facilities in its
lobbies and rest rooms. Reason
given by the management was
that a candy shop was located in
the building on the street. How
ever, the candy shop recently
closed its doors. The theater
management then sought the
candy machine venders, and
Berio Vending Company was
successful in getting the con
tract.
