An experience in Baltimore is
being duplicated many times
throughout the country, and is
worth receiving the close atten­
tion of operators who have an
adequate supply of vending ma­
chines.
The Stanley Theater, one of
Baltimore’s deluxe houses, had
steadfastly refused to install
candy vending facilities in its
lobbies and rest rooms. Reason
given by the management was
that a candy shop was located in
the building on the street. How­
ever, the candy shop recently
closed its doors. The theater
management then sought the
candy machine venders, and
Berio Vending Company was
successful in getting the con­
tract.
