We didn’t know what we were
talking about. A month ago we

and today they are the worst in

ANNOUNCE AMERICAN FILM PRODUCTS CO.
AS FILM DISTRIBUTORS
Sam Strahl and Meyer Abel
son, well known to the trade for
their distribution work in this
area, today announced the for
mation of American Film Prod
ucts Company to distribute the
shorts produced by-the Associ
ated Producers D is trib u tin g ,
Inc. of Hollywood, Cal.
Meyer Abelson spent some
time in Hollywood going over
the series of shorts that have
already been produced and
watched some of those in the
making. He was very much im
pressed with the fine artists and
the high quality workmanship
that is being used, he reported.
According to Sam and Meyer,
“We are of the belief that those
operators of movie film ma
chines who want the very finest
musical entertainment featuring
the better known personalities
of radio, stage, screen as well as
the noted recording bands, will
find that our films now ready for
release are the finest obtainable.
Furthermore, the price is un
usually reasonable for each eight
subject film. At the same time
we are supplying this film F.O.B.
Pittsburgh which makes it so
much easier for the operators
all around.
“We are holding prevues of
each new film in our offices and
will be glad to include anyone
of the interested operators.
Announcements will go out regu
larly on all new subjects that we
receive. We feel that the trade
is in need of the subjects that
we have to insure their machines
earning the greatest possible
profits and also continuing to
attract major attention on each
location. The operators who
need film of the better type
should get in touch with Ameri
can Film Products Company
immediately for our first four
releases which have clicked with
everyone who has seen them.”
Strahl and Abelson also re
port that they have already made
arrangements for speedy and
steady shipments to many of the
movie machine operators and
will be willing to make such ar
rangements with any of the
other operators who want the
film in a hurry and at specified
times.
