“ I consider my appointment
as Homer E. Capehart’s district
manager a promotion,” Ben
said. “ I have been making a
complete tour of my territory,
contacting operators and ap
pointing distributors. The op
erators are in a very receptive
mood relative to Capehart’s
products already on the market
and others about to be intro
duced.
Much favorable com
ment has been received during
my recent trip covering over
1000 miles, and orders booked
are indeed gratifying.”
The personal friendship with
Capehart dating back about ten
years is a factor which decided
Ben in choosing this new con
nection, and he expressed en
thusiasm for this new associ
ation, saying: “ I have always
looked up to Homer E. Capehart
as a leader in the industry,
which he has proved himself.”

H O W CONFIDENCE
BUILT A BUSINESS
Allied Novelty Co., Chicago,
known by operators every
where, is an example of the con
cern that goes out of its way
to make friends and please
customers.
Sam Kleiman, Allied official,
sees to it personally that every
machine sold by his firm is in
top shape. He believes in en
couraging operators to try Al
lied equipment just once be
cause he knows that once they
do they will become permanent
customers.
“ We have always done our
level best,” says Sam, “ to merit
the large amount of business we
receive by giving the greatest
possible value. In so doing, we
have built operator confidence in
our products. Yes, we intend to
keep right on building confi
dence into everything we sell.”
Harry LeVine, Allied official
is the travelling ambassador
contacting operators. He re
ports that Allied’s customers
are more than satisfied with
service and the fine condition of
machines shipped to them.
“ IT’S A BIG Y E A R ”
SAYS MOE MANDELL
Northwestern Sales and Serv
ice, Boston, Mass. distributors
for Northwestern Corporation
vending machines, has just
chalked up a most successful
year according to Moe Mandell.
Filled with gratitude for the
swell way in which operators
have cooperated with him, Man
dell sends thanks to all, and es
pecially to W. E. Bolen and W.
R. Greiner of the Northwestern
Corp. headquarters.
“ With such a successful year
behind us, we’re off to make the
one ahead even better. Through
out the months ahead, we’re go
ing to continue sticking close to
our policy of only finest mer
chandise at finest prices—prices
that win friends.”
