Through a misunderstanding an

Congress St., Chicago, was inserted
on page 77 of the July issue. A u t o

some of the prices listed and the
fact that a number of the items were
not in stock.
Pin Game Gadgets
Cause Police Headaches
Toledo, Ohio.— Reports filtered in
to police headquarters that there has
been an “ epidemic” of counterfeit
slugs pouring into pinball machines
recently.
Although police were not notified
of the case, one patrolman said he
had heard of a man being thrown
out of a St. Clair street cafe when
he was caught putting slugs into a
pinball machine.
One man and woman, who where
using a magnetic gadget to make
pinball machines “ a sure thing” com
plained Wednesday night they were
rushed out of a restaurant by “five
ugly fellows.”
The gadget, which
controls the steel ball, is held by
police despite the man’s efforts to
recover it.
A woman and two men, arrested
Thursday night in a downtown fra
ternal club on complaint they were
winning consistently with a metal de
vice which released coin holders, re
mained in the Safety building on
“ suspicion” last night. Federal au
thorities are investigating the trio.
