Since Snacks was introduced over three years ago,
operators have been inquiring constantly about new prod
ucts to be manufactured by Trimount. Fortunately, we
have had such a successful run of Snacks that all our
efforts were required to meet the huge demand for them
and we are still in volume production, but we have been
able to organize and expand our production and experi
mental facilities so that we are now in a position to
offer the trade a new product.
Operators have repeatedly asked me for a machine
that could be operated in the same locations where they
have no other equipment with little or no extra cost of
service— something small — compact— not too high in
price — involving little extra service— preferably some
thing which could be attached to their present equipment
— and with sufficient earning power to wholly or partially
absorb the cost of each service call.
We have the answer in Snacks Gum Vendor, dispensing
tab gum of the highest quality— small, compact in size, of
striking design and of such flexibility that it can be
readily adapted and in many cases attached to other types
of equipment. The Snacks Gum Vendor is a machine of
many uses and adaptable for many purposes.
It is designed so that by use of a simple bracket it can
be attached to the Snacks 3 -compartment vendor, of
which there are many thousands in use in all parts of the
country. The design blends harmoniously with Snacks
and it can be attached to either side, or in better loca
tions two machines can be attached to Snacks, one on
either side of the machine. The field alone opens a wide
market and will give Snacks operators plus income in the
same location with no exti’a service cost.
I wish also to emphasize that the Snacks Gum Vendor
can be attached to cigarette machines and either bolted
to the side or attached by means of a bracket. The
cigarette machine usually commands a preferred spot
within the location. The outstanding beauty and striking
design of the Snacks Gum Vendor will harmonize with
the modern, new type cigarette machine and will provide
an extra income—that plus income to cover the cost of
service. It is an ideal auxiliary machine for the cigarette
operator. Also, the Vendor can be easily and profitably
used with candy vending; machines.
For the phonograph operator I recommend the counter
model and that the machine be placed upon the top of
the cabinet where it will be sure to attract attention and
secure good play.
A special base will be designed for either one or two
machines. There will be many cases where the machine
can be set upon a counter, particularly where space is
limited. The dimensions of the base are only 5% "x4% "
and the machine can be placed near the cash register, on
the show case, or fountain, or upon counters or tables.
Its small, compact size will open up many new spots
within the location. Because of its low cost, an operator
will not hesitate to place several machines in strategic
spots in the same location.
Then, of course, the machine can be attached to the
wall and its compact size will permit installations upon
panels and other narrow spaces upon a wall where larger
machines would not be permitted. Then, in industrial
locations installation upon the walls of the factory would
be ideal. Surely, the Snacks Gum Vendor is a machine of
many uses.
Snacks Chewing Gum sold through the Vendor will be
the tab size, similar to the standard brands upon the
market. The gum will be of the highest quality and
packaged especially and exclusively for Trimount under
an improved formula, insuring absolute uniformity, every
piece wrapped in aluminum foil. The company manu
facturing this product is a national organization of wide
experience in the chewing gum field with a reputation
for quality merchandise. The price to the operator will
be fair and will allow a fair margin.
The Snacks Gum Vendor opens an entirely new field. It
brings the machine to the point of sale where the customer
must see it. Its small, compact size will develop many new
spots within each location, particularly where space is at a
premium. The price of the machine is low and there will
be also a finance plan offered to dependable operators.
