What’s new about a machine that’s thirty years old?
Well, there is something new about the Bell—yes,
something entirely new, something which makes
the Bell an altogether different kind of machine,
maintaining all its oldtime wallop, with a brand
new twist that gives the veteran Bell players
just what they want today. We refer to Mills new
machine—

Joined with certain of the fruit symbols on the FIRST
REEL are the letters B, O, N , U, and S. W hen a B appears,
its flag springs up under the bonus window, even though
the machine may pay out an award on the same play.
From this point on, any time the next consecutive letter
of the word BONUS appears, it, too, flops up under the
glass. W hen finally the word BONUS is completed, the
machine pays 18 for the Bonus award, regardless of the
ordinary payouts in the meantime. It only slips back to
scratch after the Bonus is won, never before. N othing is

Don’t start off with any preconceived idea of the
Bonus. If you haven’t yet operated any, let us tell
you exactly what it is.
1. Bonus is identical with the Blue Front Mystery Bell
in that it pays exactly the same awards without change or
qualification.
2. In addition to the Mystery Awards, a Bonus feature,
dramatically displayed at top of the machine, furnishes
ADDED appeal.
The Bonus is always there as a play-getter. As
soon as it approaches completion, interest gets
wilder and wilder! Players refuse to release the
machine till they can push the Bonus feature "over
the line.” In the meantime, a Great Mystery Bell is
doing its stuff.
Notice the smashing new design of this machine,
the prominent Jackpot, the inset chrome reward
card, the dominating bonus display window. It has
color, action, player appeal and an E N T IR E L Y N E W
ID E A B E H IN D IT! Today it outranks every other
machine of its kind on the market.
