Location Folder Is
Effective
An extremely effective piece of
propaganda in favor of coin games
has just been designed and written
by Ray Becker, sales manager of J.
H. Keeney & Co.
The idea is in the form of a “stand
up” card or folder for the operator
or location owner to place upon pin
games, so that those standing around
watching or awaiting their turn to
play may pick up the folder and read
it.
The card, similar in size and ap
pearance to menu cards found on soda
fountain tables, shows an illustration
of an ancient bagatelle game, and
explains that pin games are not alto
gether new, but are merely the mod
ernization of one of the oldest known
parlour-games, bagatelle.
In the text matter also appearing
on the inside of the folder are listed
nine points associated with pin
games; their economic importance
during the Depression; their present
ing a very inexpensive and evidently
popular form of diversion and amuse
ment, and other points in the justi
fication of such games.
The covers bear only these words:
“Play a ‘Pin Game’— just for fun.”
The O nly Slug-proof,
W eather-proof,
2 Com partment Vender
The Sensational
2-in-1 VENDOR
We are told that operators and
others associated with the coin game
industry may secure a supply of such
cards for location distribution and
display by writing Mr. Becker.
Hobo: “Please, lady, can you help
a poor . . .?”
Lady: “Can you saw wood?”
Hobo: “W hat grammar! You mean
can I see wood.”
SIMMONS MODEL A
At those good paying locations you have long wanted
to operate, but never have found a machine strong
and fool-proof enough to stand the abuse— why not
try a Simmons Model A?
Then you, too, will say: “I cannot buy at any price
a machine with the Beauty, Strength and Fool
Proof features of the Simmons Model A .”
All working parts guaranteed against wear or
breakage for 2 years.
