Game Record
Ray Moloney, president of Bally
Manufacturing Company, states that
the first week of May was the big-
best week in Bally’s history; and
Thursday of that week broke all pre
vious records for a single day’s pro
duction.
“Of course,” Ray added.
“I ’m
counting the production of both the
night and day shifts, which we have
been running ever since the introduc
tion of Multiple and Hialeah. But
even so, when I look back on the hec
tic days of Ballyhoo, and to the sum
mer of ’34— when we served cold beer
to the boys who were getting out 500
Fleets a day with the thermometer
at 100— and the sensational produc
tion records at the peak of the Jumbo
run—and, when I realize that we’ve
actually topped those records— well,
I ’m dog-gone proud of the crew out
there in the factory, and my hat’s
off to the ‘old gent’ (D. J. Moloney,
Ray’s father and Bally Factory Su
perintendent) for the job he’s doing.”
