I t was the time of day that tests men s courage. Early. A
grey dawn. Ju st before the world wakes. Down at the air
port,, a sm all group of men were secretly busy m aking ready
fo r the take-off. M inutes flew by. A t last, the word was
given, and a young man— tall, spare, with a certain deter
m ination in his walk— stepped up to the plane. There was
a fin a l personal inspection, a quiet hand shaking, and,
then, history was in the making. The lone eagle was o f.
A n d 33 hours later, from across the A tlantic, cables flashed
the news of Lindbergh's landing. The world thundered its
applause. Every civilized country in existence p a id hom
age to a hero. Every m an, woman, and child on the face of
the globe thrilled to the account of that daring flight, the
kind of flig h t you experience in —

lets up. A n d you are always ce rta in to fin d a fu ll
cashbox. To ge t an idea o f T R A N S -A T LA N T IC ’S
m ake-up, ju s t run o ve r these facts:
The cabinet is ultra-modern. Colorful. Strikingly
so. The finish is in the latest shades of ocean-blue and summer-
green accented by inlays of sunny-gold. It is a cabinet that
will get you into every location in town.
C A B IN E T :
The legs on TRANS-ATLANTIC’S cabinet are solid
and strong. The levelers are extra size and have the advan
tage of being adjustable. You can bet your bottom penny
that TRANS-ATLANTIC will look well week after week and
month after month under the hardest play.
LEGS:
The entire mechanism is made from costly
die-castings, precision steel stampings, and fine brass. Every
item is accurately engineered. Every item fits into its place
perfectly. And works smoothly.
If the player happens to g e t lost in the Fog or goes O ff Course,
the register subtracts the number of miles lost. It is one of the
cleverest and most fascinating devices ever placed on a pin
table for the amusement of the public, and this register is
exclusive on TRANS-ATLANTIC.
TRANS-ATLANTIC'S cashbox is easily acces
sible. The coin chute is the latest visible type. The plunger
has the newly-improved double-action springs and permits
extra smooth and skillful play. The tilting device is in perfect
play adjustment—just right for play— and it is electrically
hooked up, so that a signal is flashed on the light-up panel.
When TRANS-ATLANTIC is tilted, a special device auto
matically disconnects the mileage register.
FEATURES:
H O O K - U P : The electrical parts are assem
bled in units by themselves. This makes it possible to remove
any part separately without upsetting the whole works. This is
another exclusive TRANS-ATLANTIC feature that will save
you hours of time and increase your profits proportionately.
Incorporated in TRANS-ATLANTIC is a safety fuse and switch,
a feature that every experienced operator knows is extremely
desirable.
E L E C T R IC
The batteries are in a separate compartment
by themselves and can be taken out without removing the
whole playing field.
B A T T E R IE S :
B O X : The light box is removable by two screws. All
contacts are automatic, and they have a flexible-spring con
nection, so that you can be sure of uninterrupted operation.
L IG H T
M E C H A N IS M :
TRANS-ATLANTIC comes equipped with a
special register that adds and subtracts. It shows the player
exactly how many” miles” he has covered. When he advances
1000 miles, the register chalks up 1000 miles. When he com
pletes the 3 0 0 0 mile trip, the register shows up accordingly.
