“COLUMBUS” SHOW
T H R I L L S
CONVENTION VISITORS
A
T the 1936 Convention, The Columbus
Vending Company, pioneers in build
ing dependable merchandise machines,
again set the pace— this time with a novel
moving picture film dramatizing the com
plete manufacturing process of “COLUM
BUS” Vendors.
Throughout the show the film was continu
ously shown to a large group of interested
operators who marveled at the precision
parts, accurate workmanship and detailed
inspection that went into the production of
“COLUMBUS” machines.
Old time “COLUMBUS” operators were
shown in graphic picture form just wrhy
their “COLUMBUS” machines have stood
up under the test of time with a minimum
of servicing.
To new operators, not acquainted with de
pendable “COLUMBUS” performance, it
was a revelation to view the precision and
accuracy of the “COLUMBUS” manufactur
ing process.
“No wonder ‘COLUMBUS’ machines are de
pendable in operation— no wonder they are
the most accessible and easy-to-service ma
chines on the market”— was the concensus
of opinion of operators who viewed the film.
But the convention is over and the year over
1/12 gone. What are you doing to make
1936 your most profitable year?
Have you checked your routes carefully to
see if you ceuld eliminate any time wasting
“drones”— machines that look okay, take in
a regular supply of pennies, but, because
they are hard to service and frequently out
of order, eat up more time than the profits
justify.
Remember attractive, new, dependable, “CO
LUMBUS” machines can be thoroughly
cleaned and serviced on location without the
use of a single tool or wrench— a time sav
ing feature which makes it possible for
operators to service larger routes, spend
more hours in securing locations and as a
result earn more profits.
