Ad-Lee Announces
Two New Ones
The Oregon Skill Game Operators'
Association has been recently or
ganized, according to information just
received by the National Association
of Coin-Operated Machine Manu
facturers.
Officers were elected on November
7 as follows: President, Frank A.
Koehler; Vice-President, Ace Ams-
berg; Secretary, Harold Hansen;
Treasurer, Don Armitage; Directors,
Bob Allen, E. M. Busch and Lou
Dunas.

realize the importance and necessity
of a well organized association, and
asks that any operators in the State

Production and sales activity at the
Ad-Lee Company, pioneer coin ma
chine manufacturers, has reached a
peak which rivals the “good old
days” according to Mr. Lee Felsen-
thal, that genial and kindly gentleman
who has devoted the past forty years
to vending machines and kindred
lines. The reason lies in steadily-
climbing sales of the X-Cavator,
digger-type machine, and their de
luxe four-column bulk vending ma
chine, along with the immediate
reaction which followed recent an
nouncements of their new “Leap
Frog” dice machine and the “Duette”
two-column bulk merchandiser.

Turkey Salesboards
Popular Now
Salesboard operators are finding it
profitable at this season of the year
to distribute candy and turkey push-
cards along their routes.
The small turkey push-card usually
takes in approximately $20.00 and
awards one turkey as a grand prize
and several smaller birds as consola
tion prizes. The large push-card,
1000 holes, takes in $50.00 and awards
a turkey and a number of smaller
prizes in cash, trade or cigarettes.
Often operators will arrange a direct
tie-up with a local butcher and then
award the poultry winners with
tickets which are redeemable at “so-
and-so's” market.
The candy push-card usually con
sists of 200-600 holes and makes a
liberal pay-out of one, two, three
and five pound boxes of chocolates.
If the candy boxes are stacked around
the board, an attractive eye-appealing
display is created.
Turkey and candy push-cards have
at least one important point in their
favor. They are often tolerated in
locations where the conventional
salesboard is not.
Trade and cash boards are good
all year around. But the operator
who adds a few turkey and candy
push-cards to his route during the
Holiday season is able to add just
that much more to his profits.
In “Leap Frog” the firm presents
an original and startling departure
from other counter dice machines. It
is electrically operated and a touch
of the button catapults the dice onto
the board from a concealed compart
ment. Insertion of a coin causes the
dice to again disappear until the
button is touched for the next play.
Six coins can be played at one time,
ranging from pennies to quarters,
and this is a second remarkable fea
ture of the machine.
“ Duette” is an attractive counter
size vending machine holding two
columns of bulk merchandise. The
mechanism is new and especially
adapted for handling odd shaped
items. Simplicity of servicing and
collecting from the machine are among
its many features.
