E. C, Johnson, the flying Seeburg
sales manager who travels exclusive­
ly by airplane and who recently flew
from coast to coast and from Canada
to the Gulf, plans to go to South
America in November via Pan-Amer­
ican Airways. His business trip will
be entirely by airplane and will re­
quire six weeks to complete. From
Miami he will go to Mexico City and
then to Valparaiso. From this point
he will fly across the Andes Moun­
tains to Buenos Aires and back up
the other coast of South America to
Panama and back to Miami.
Mr. Johnson will be accompanied,
according to present plans, by Eric
Wedemeyer. Mr. Wedemyer plans to
leave him at Rio de Janeiro and take
the Zeppelin to China.
July was the biggest month in the
history of the J, P. Seeburg Corpora­
tion, according to E. C. Johnson,
sales manager. Mr. Johnson stated
that on August 1 they were 500 units
behind in deliveries of the “Sympho-
nola.”
Seeburg’s “Hockey” has enjoyed a
remarkable sale in foreign countries
and Mr. Johnson believes that opera­
tors in this country are beginning to
recognize the possibilities of this all­
