J> 0 IN T IN G out that Rocket, the
pioneer pay-out pin-game has al
ready celebrated its first birthday,
Ray Moloney, president o f the Bally
Manufacturing Company, predicted
an increasing trend toward auto-
matic-award skill game.
“ Rocket,” Ray stated, has been suc
cessful from every angle— tremendous
popularity with players, large and
steady profits fo r operators and loca
tion owners, and big volume sales fo r
jobbers. And now we are coming out
with our third automatic pay-out pin-
game— Red Arrow.
Red A rrow is played with one
ball only— 1 ball fo r five cents— and
that one ball trickling down through
a maze o f hundreds o f pins creates
suspense. Red A rrow is offered as a
five-cent skill-game that plays 200 to
250 games an hour. Y es! Four games
& minute! “ We do not wish to con
vey the thought that Red A rrow is a
slot machine by any stretch o f
imagination,” said Mr. Moloney. “ It
*s an innocent and exciting skill-game
in appearance and in fa ct has possi
bilities o f 60, 70, or ever. 80 per cent
Pay-outs.”
“ Old-timers, particularly slot oper
ators, are interested in this machine,
as they see in it a game that may
bring back the big money o f olden
days,” Mr. Moloney said. “ Already
Premiums are being offered fo r the
first 500 machines, but o f course ship
ments will be made on & first come,
first served basis.
Our own confi
dence in Red Arrow is so great that
carloads of materials are daily arriv
ing at our plant in anticipation o f the
greatest demand in Bally history.
