Horse Machine depicts the “ sport
of kings.” What’s more exciting
than a horse race? They’re at the
Post! They’re off! And when the
thrill of the revolving dial and,
when it stops, there you are—all
six horses placed in the position
*n which they finish. Every opera­
tion of the machine is a race. Just
Pick the winners to win, place or
show.
. It’s up to the operator and clerk
ln charge to increase the play by
offering a prize to the player when
he guesses the lucky color. In the
Meantime, the machine gets the
Pennies.

When operated as a Race Horse Machine, the player sets the pointer on the
dumber of the horse he thinks will win, inserts the penny, pulls the handle and
“ they’re off!” If his horse wins, the machine returns the same coin, and he witnesses
the race free.

. There are six colors and six numbers on the indicator. There are also six horses
in each of six spaces on the dial. The horses are numbered from one to six accord­
ing to the position they are placed on the dial. There is also a schedule, one to six,
Under each space on the dial, making it convenient to distinguish the positions of
each horse after each operation of the machine as shown here:

This would show horse No. 1 was first, horse No. 3 was second, and horse No. 2
^as third, and so on. Each of the six spaces on the dial has the horses placed in a
