Manufacturers Make Quick Clean-Up of
Space at Detroit Coin Exposition
Secretary Turner writes us that
must stop selling space fo r the
Coin Machine Exposition at De-
roit or prepare overflow booths out
ln the assembly room. A ll space in
Exposition Hall is taken and
checks are now in the hands o f Sec
retary Turner.
In order to accommodate any oth
ers who want to exhibit, ten booths
^re being arranged in the Assembly
**0om as shown on the opposite page,
hese booths are directly in fron t o f
^e elevator and some will consider
jhem very desirable. Others will
yink there will be too much confu-
*l° n around them. A t any rate, no-
lce is given now that any exhibitor
'vho desires to transfer his location
*° the assembly room can do so by
^°tifying Secretary Turner and those
holding space under reservation
be given first opportunity before
any o f this sjpace is sold to late corn
ers. i f you
not notify Secretary
u**ner before December 1st that you
Prefer an Assembly Room booth,
hen he will allot this space to man
ufacturers who make application.
Those who desire space had better
Set busy at once as these ten booths
^ill be gone in a few days after the

the A U T O M A T I C AGE started
sponsoring these expositions four
y:ars ago. Formerly the space lagged
along and was not taken until the
last few days before the show. This
year, with
the Exposition four
months off, the space is already over
flowing out o f the main hall. This
is quite a compliment, we think, to
the men who head the Coin Machine
Operators’ Association o f America,
under whore auspices the convention
and exposition is being held.
It
shows the confidence the manufac
turers have in the management and
their approval o f the plans to put it
on a h:gher plane than ever before.
Never before has any o f the money
been spent to advertise the conven
tion except what was done without
charge by the A U T O M A T IC AGE.
This year ads will be carried in tlie
Billboard, Novelty News, Opportun
ity Magazine, Popular Mechanics,
and— best o f all— in mediums which
will be announced in time but are fo r
the present secret. The dates are
February 25-26-27-28, at the Hotel
Statler, Detroit. For space or details,
write Secretary F. E. Turner, Lafay
ette Bldg., Detroit.
The list o f exhibitors below are
those who have the deposit fo r their
booth in the hands o f Secretary
Turner. Some others have expressed
their intention o f exhibiting but
hav.e not remitted their deposit. A
full booth is $40 and a half bootti,

Reliable Has Two
New Machines
Operators will note in this issue,
two new machines— the Puritan Ba
by Bell and the New Jack-Pot Ma
chine, manufactured by the Reliable
Coin Machine Exchange, Chicago.
Operators who have wanted to
profit by the popularity o f the tar
get may now do so because o f the
automatic gum vender feature. We
understand the price o f this machine
is exceptionally low.
The P U R IT A N B A B Y B E L L is
the well-known four coin machine. It
is the smallest machine o f its kind
made, and has all the features o f the
old Bell machine with the exception
o f the automatic payout. There has
been a demand in recent years fo r a
machine that had the thrill o f the
Bell, but at the same time would
avoid the gambling feature. This is
a genuine operator’s m a c h i n e ,
equipped with meter and double cash
door.
The machine was designed by the
Reliable people and it has been a big
success in the Middle West. T h e
factory is in production and can make
prompt delivery in any quantity.
