The large golden beli . can be
swung back and forth by means
o f a knob on the right side of the
cabinet. Below the bell are three
pockets with runways leading into
a cup in front of the machine. If
the player is skillful, he can guide
the penny into one of the pockets
by swinging the bell, and get his
penny back again.
After each
play a ball of gum can be secured
by pulling a separate knob. Oper­
ated in this way, the Golden Bell
is a strictly legitimate machine—
an interesting and profitable game
of skill.
