ington has 111 years' experience in
manufacturing, and this experience
we intend to utilize to the nth
degree in the manufacture o f serv
ice machines.”
Heretofore the manufacture o f the
so-called vending machines has not
been given any attention by large
concerns, and until the last few years
the possibilities fo r the manufacture
and sale o f such machines has not
been recognized. They were made fo r
amusement parks principally.
The entrance o f The Remington
Arms Company into this field marks
the advent o f the first really large
and important company into the
manufacture and sale o f service ma
chines, and this, too, means that there
will be “ Quality” in machines from
now on. Quality is something that
always has been stressed by Reming
ton. Some 111 years ago the first
Remington rifle was made in Illion,
