I will attempt to show the
workings of a traveling arcade,
together with the advantages
and disadvantages its manager
has over his brother who stays
in one place.
In the first place, the home
guard waits fo r the people to
come to him— we take the ar­
cade to the people. He shows to
the same crowd year in and year
out— we show to a new crowd
every week. W e show to peo­
ple who never saw Arcades be­
