Plans are rapidly going ahead for
biggest convention our industry has ever staged.
The men in
charge are determined to put on your show and our show in
bigger way than has been done before. Former conventions
one hundred per cent successful and no one who attended wou
have missed them. This one will be bigger and better because ° ul
industry has grown since then.
An array o f new machines were introduced at the Amusem^11
Parks convention in Chicago this month, those that were m °s
suitable fo r amusement park purposes. These and a great to * 0?
others will be displayed at our own convention and will shoW ^0
best advantage the progress we are making.
But a convention is infinitely more than an exhibit: It is
personnel of an industry assembled; it is the spirit of progress
brought to a peak; it is the power which directs scattered effoi^
toward a common g o a l; it is the means of knowing each other bet
ter and getting the other’s point of v iew ; it is the melting pot in*0
