Constitution— Article I
Sec. 1. N A M E : This organiza­
tion shall be hailed and known as the
n a t io n a l
v e n d in g
m a c h in e
O P E R A T O R S A SSO C IA T IO N .
Sec. 2. O B JE C T S: The objects
o f this organization are
(a) To bring together persons en­
gaged or interested in the operation
o f coin controlled devices as members
o f this association and its subsidiar­
ies and branches.
(b)
T o gather information o f
value to the membership.
(c) T o promulgate such inform a­
tion among the membership.
(d) To investigate and make re­
port o f all matters o f interest fo r
and to the membership.
(e) To promote the best possible
understanding among the member­
ship.
(f)
To take such legal or other
steps as may be necessary or best
suited to protect such members from
unjust or unlawful discrmination
against them or encroachment on
their business by any person or body
politic or corporate.
(g ) T o promote the spirit o f fair,
open, above board treatment between
the membership and between the
members and those with whom they
deal.
(h )) T o conduct educational cam­
paigns in order to keep constantly
before the membership the desirabil­
ity and necessity fo r dispensing 1 in
their machines clean, wholesome and
sanitary products and to keep their
machines in a clean, wholesome and
sanitary condition.

T o grant charters to subsid­

T o operate such subsidiaries
and branches in conjunction with and
under this association upon and un­
der such rules and regulations as are
hereby or may be hereafter adopted

erate the obligations o f this associa­
tion to such subsidiaries and branches
and the responsibility o f the associa­
tion fo r obligations incurred by such
subsidiaries or branches or anyone o f
them.

sion fo r the holding o f State and Na­
tional Conventions o f its subsidiaries
and branches
and the
members
thereof.
A R T IC L E II
Members
Sec. 1. The members o f this or­
ganization shall consist o f only such
persons, firms or corporations, who
are engaged in the operation o f coin
controlled devices as a business or,
persons, firms or corporations inter­
ested in the operation o f coin con­
trolled devices as a business, who
have been elected as delegates to this
body from any subsidiary or branch
operating under a charter granted by
this association to it as hereinafter
set forth.
Sec. 2. Each subsidiary or branch
to whom a charter is granted shall
have the right to elect from among
their number a delegate to this body
fo r each fifteen members o f such sub­
sidiary or branch o f any multiple or
fraction or multiple thereof.
