Los Angeles, Calif.— Many promi­
nent Jews of the city attended funer­
al services held this afternoon for
Jonas J. Gans, one of the wealthiest
business men of the city, who died
Sunday, in his fifty-second year.
Mr. Gans came to Los Angeles 27
years ago, entering business on a
small scale and developing his enter­
prise until at the time of his death
